Morning by Carolyn Elias
The cool bed rocked
In a gentle wave.
You were happy with my scent:
Sand, wood, smoke.
Your hand coiled
Like a spool of yarn
Around my naked belly
I lay unfurled.
Catching your skin,
warm as summer rain.
